When the word elopement comes up, I always think Romeo and Juliette, madly in love, running away against their families wishes and all odds of happiness to get married in a clandestine site. However, in San Francisco when someone says they are going to elope, they usually mean scheduling a date and time at the San Francisco City Hall to exchange vows in the presence of a few close friends and family members. And why not, San Francisco City Hall is absolutely amazing!
This gorgeous couple exchanged vows at the top of the stairs surrounded by their close family. We used the ever favoring natural light on the 3rd floor to take some stunning portraits and simply enjoy each other away from their family. Outside the building in the noon sun we snapped a few more pictures before heading to the Palace Hotel for their schedule wedding lunch. All in all a good day to get married.
Beautiful, simple, affordable
