You may think you are awkward in front of the camera. The thought of having your picture taken sends shivers up your spine. The only time you think you will ever hire a photographer is for your wedding. You are not alone. Having your picture taken can be intimidating. I spend a lot of time behind the camera, but when you put me in front of it I am a hot mess. With this is mind some people choose to skip the engagement session as part of their wedding photography. Don't!!!!
I am not saying this as a professional looking to up sell my product. I am saying this as a girl who has been through the process. I made a lot of mistakes when planning my wedding. I was late in the game to schedule our engagement pictures so we were not able to use them for our save the dates, but choosing to go through with them regardless was worth every minute and every penny.
Planning a wedding can be stressful. There are a lot of moving parts. Dates, deadlines, schedules, deposits, budgets, meetings, etc. to think about. While adding one more component to your already busy schedule sounds counter productive, it is quite the opposite. Think of engagement pictures as a moment to enjoy an afternoon with the person you have chosen to marry. We will go to beautiful places. I will walk you through poses that will be more about the two of you and less about the camera. You will have time to look into each others eyes, to walk hand in hand, whisper in each others ear, to laugh at and with each other, and most importantly remember why this one person is the person you are going to spend the rest of your life with. You will walk away with beautiful pictures the capture just how in love you were months before your wedding.
Beautiful, simple, affordable photography.
